China Launches Communication Tech Satellite from Hainan

WENCHANG, Hainan – China successfully launched a new satellite designed to test communication technologies early Wednesday morning. The satellite, launched from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in Hainan province, is intended to advance China’s space communication capabilities.
The launch occurred at 12:16 am Beijing time, utilizing a modified Long March 7 carrier rocket. Officials confirmed the satellite has successfully entered its predetermined orbit.
The Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site, located on the southern island province of Hainan, is a crucial hub for China's expanding space program.
